Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish was born on 7 August 1982, in Australia, is an actress. Cornish is best known for her roles in films as Heidi In Somersault (2004) as Heidi Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) and also for the film she co-directed with director Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) and The Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). In the latter film, Cornish got the first Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the ensemble. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 and many other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin's parents remained supportive and encouraged her to become an actress. Fordham College was her first choice when it was time for her to start college. The college was where she learned to master her craft. After graduation Gilpin began performing in Off-Broadway shows while auditioning for television and film roles. Gilpin was able to land a guest appearance in the network's Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) as well as following by small parts for the films Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin was able to land a few TV guest spots over the subsequent years. Until she got her debut break in 2013 by landing a recurring role in Nurse Jackie. The character of the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared on 34 episodes of the series prior to when Nurse Jackie ended its run in June of 2015. Gilpin played a role in the mystery thriller True Story (2015).
