Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded typically in the martial arts or horror types. Her style of review and methodology are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action flicks and has a fascination with the morbid. After earning some recognition on the forums on Channel Awesome (under her previous name Obscurus Lupa), she began to review in late 2009. She was on the website until 2015, which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents turned into Movie Nights. She co-hosts two podcasts that cover the Charmed franchise. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones starred her in Jesus Bro! as well as appearing in his show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible children's films or RiffTrax live shows in addition to the occasional adult-oriented comedy (including obviously Baywatch (2017)). The first time she reviewed a film was the latter part of 2009. Her name gained lots of popularity through her participation in the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of the family. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She appeared on many seasons from Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of the Channel Awesome family with Doug Walker.
